Bournemouth 2010 (Week 4)

To Options Staff.

Thank you very much for my first Options holidays it has been an excellent experience for me. All the Options staff you have been really good so i hope to see you again.

Bournemouth 8th -14th August

Young persons holiday Staff, David, Delia, Emma, Joanne

Day 1. Yesterday i took a taxi with my Dad to Cockfosters station, then took a train from cockfosters Leicester square where i went on the Northern line to Waterlooto take the 12.35 train to Bournemouth then we arrived at Bournemouth at 14. 35 and I took a taxi to the Laguna hotel where i am staying for the week. I met all the staff

Day 2 the rest of the group went to Splashdown and their names were Russel, Nicola, William , James, Neal ,Rebecca ,Becky, Vicky, Helen, Samantha and the options staff too. They had a really good time at Splashdown today. Me and delia went into town where i bought 2 post cards and a new Diary today. Delia and me decided that we would eat at Weatherspoons and the meal was very good we watched the a team at the arena today that was excellent to see the movie the movie. Tonight after we had our meal we all played bingo tonight. Then there was entertainment with a guy singing on a keyboard. I had my photo taken by Joanna with James and me. Then he took a picture of me and Joanna.

Day 3 We went down to the town of Bournemouth to go shopping for things to buy. I bought 2 CDs for 10 pounds. And the 16 of us went to lunch at the weatherspoons and we were waiting for at least half an hour or more but we finally got our lunch and 3 of us had steak pie ,one had a sandwich baguette and 1 had a beef burger.. When we got back from the centre of Bournemouth we went for a second swim of the week so that was really good. Last night the group played bingo but i did not play bingo with them. The entertainment was a man playing songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s so most of the geoup were dancing and having a good time.

Day 4 We will be leaving at 10 o’clock so we are going to a theme park called Paultons in Poole today.. All of us shall be going to the theme park to see what rides they will go on today. I went on 3 rides today and they were really good to be on.. the rest of the group did their rides they wanted to be on today. The entertainment today was a man with his microphone and 1 big sound system. Most of the group were dancing and having a really good time tonight.

Day 5 All of us went by mini bus and took the ferry to swanage and we had a wander round the shops to buy some some souvenirs. Then we went on the beach and had our lunch down on the beach Then in the afternoon when we came back to the hotel we then went for a quick swim in the indoor swimming pool... Then in the evening we took a coach to see Joseph and the amazing coloured dreamcoat with all the group and the options holidays people and it was a brilliant evening then took the coach up to eastcliff to watch fireworks tonight.

Day 6 today all the group took the coach to Weymouth to the sea life centre. Where we saw otters, seals, tortoises and sharks then we had our packed lunch in sealife world then in the afternoon we had a drink in one of the cafes in the complex.. Then we came back for our dinner that was nice food tonight. Some of us went down to the pier to watch the fire works go off. They were excellent.. the entertainer was a lady called Dianna Roe who was brilliant and we all had a great time..
