Faith Week 2010

I arrived at the hotel with my friend Katy. It was a lovely hotel and we had a nice room and a carer called Emma . She is lovely and looks after us well.

We went out for a nice meal and all got to know each other.

In the morning we sat in a circle and said a prayer and talked about St Theresa. Then we did some craft. We made paper and bowls. In
the after noon we went on a steam train and had a picnic. Then we went to play skittles in a pub and had a meal. Kirstine from the Options office came to join us.

On Thursday we prayed again and had a talk about Francis of Assisi. We then did some craft in the garden. We made decorations
for bags. Then we had a dance practice. It was such a lovely day we had lunch in the garden.

Then we went to the maze and got lost. After a well earned drink we went to the butterfly zoo. Tonight we are having a music and dance session.

Friday: Today we learnt more about St Peter and had to answer lots of questions about him. We then spent a little while writing poems and prayers before going off to Tintern mill for a lovely lunch and a look round the gift shops. I bought several gifts. We then had a very interesting trip to Tintern Abbey.

In the evening we had a film show.

Saturday: It is up bright and early today as we are off to the Catholic church for a talk on Mary and tea and coffee. Then we finished our pots and cards and set off for the church for a practice of our dance and readings. In the evening we had a lovely meal at the Dog and Muffler.

Sunday: Everyone came to the service answer had a lovely time and after lunch we all went home
