Faith Week 2012: Spend Easter in the Forest of Dean and celebrate the sanctity of this important Christian festival. We will be enjoying a Good Friday Pageant, attending an Easter Service in a local church, all geared to learning about the biblical story of Easter and the resurrection of Christ. In addition to all that, you
can also partake in the traditional Easter pursuits of
decorating your own eggs, making Easter bonnets and take part in
an Easter Egg hunt. For those who appreciate old vehicles, the
Coleford Festival of Transport takes place on Easter Monday and
is one of many other local attractions we may go to. Arts, Crafts and
Photography. If you want to enjoy some time away amongst beautiful surroundings, breathing the clean air in the Forest of Dean. Take inspiration from the forest and be creative as you can. During your holiday you will create an array of unique hand-crafted items whether you are a beginner or you are already a busy crafter it gives you the chance to get fresh ideas, try out new materials, add to your skills and may be show others how to do something. We will also have trips out to places like Puzzle Wood or Taurus Craft and Clearwell caves for inspiration as we create our masterpieces.
