Starting with the bright lights of Bangkok and the Royal Palace, home of the Thai King, we will then move on to explore the rest of this unique country. Other places to visit include the famous Bridge over the River Kwai where you can go on a train ride along the infamous Burma Death Railway for some spectacular views. Chiang Mai is the cultural capital of Northern Thailand, a city full of fantastic temples, street markets serving amazing food and plenty to keep you entertained. You may also get the opportunity to go elephant trekking in the jungle for some great landscapes and a bamboo raft ride along the river. After all that excitement, what better way to wind down than a visit to an island paradise for some total relaxation lazing by the pool or beach? If you have any energy left you could even try some canoeing or snorkelling. |
