We will be touring the Soap Opera's. Our tour will probably take in the village of Goathland, where Heartbeat is filmed, taking a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, and see Whitby Abbey.

We should also be able to visit Scarborough where The Royal is filmed as well as visiting Asholt, the village that Emmerdale was filmed in, having a drink in the Woolpack.

Journey through James Herriot country at Thirsk and visit the TV studio world of this delightful series as well as visiting the area where the Last of the Summer Wine is set – a visit to Nora Batty’s is usually on the itinery. This holiday is a chance to visit some of the places where your favourite soaps are filmed.

We will also be visiting local castles, cathedrals and museums – depending on the time and energy left over.

Suitable for those who enjoy busy, packed days with quiet evenings, talking over the sites of the day.
