Have fun exploring our historic waterways and railways.

Drive a train at the Swindon and Cricklade Railway, part of our UK transport heritage and run by volunteers.

The Didcot Railway Centre is a living museum with steam locomotives and much more set in 21 acres, including an original 1932 engine shed.

At the heart of Gloucester docks is the National Waterways Museum where you can walk through 200 years of history and enjoy fun exhibits and a great museum shop.

Take to the water on a Severn River boat ride and try your hand at steering on a leisurely canal boat trip.

Full steam ahead on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway and its route through the stunning Cotswolds hills.
