Planes and Trains (Riat)

July 2025

We had an exciting and action-packed holiday in the Cotswolds, filled with planes, trains, and plenty of fun.

We spent two thrilling days at the Royal International Air Tattoo, watching incredible aircraft displays and seeing planes from around the world. At the Steam Museum, we explored fascinating exhibitions and equipment from the history of railways before enjoying a nostalgic steam train ride through beautiful countryside.

Our aviation adventures continued at Aerospace Bristol, where we got to see the iconic Concorde up close, and at the Jet Age Museum, learning how planes have developed over the years. We also stepped into history at the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum.

In the evenings, we had plenty of laughs and friendly competition with a game of tenpin bowling, rounding off a truly memorable holiday.
